10 Dog Commandments

To my owner

01.I live just 10 to 15 years. Always when you leave, I feel sorrow. Please, reconsider twice, before you take me in your life.

02. The dog world stands on the pillars of hierarchy, which we respect. Each and everyone is partner to another. There's not even one who is considered to be unworthy being among us. We can't live being treated as objects. So If you need a toy, don't take me.

03. I'm sesitive and vulnerable. Whatever you do to me; let it be good or bad, it always leaves a mark in my soul. Don't get mad at me and don't punish me with imprisoning. You got a job, friend and entertainment... I got only myself.

04. Please talk to me sometimes. Although I don't understand what you're saying, I can recognize your voice. The colour of it tells me your relation to me, it allows me to see your soul. Trust me – it means a world to me.

05. Give me time so I can get to know you and figure out what you want from me.

06. Before you ever start judging me (that I'm lazy, freightened, stubborn or other stuff) think a little. Maybe I'm not feeling good because the food isn't OK, I just might have traumas from the past or maybe my heart weakened...

07. If you intend to hit me, think of how could I easily crush your hand, but I don't do that.

08. I respect you as a leader of a pack, so don't demand of me to totally relinquish myself.

09. When I get old, take care of me. You'll get old too someday.

10. Escort me on my last journey. Don't make excuses. Don't say you can't watch and don't disappear untill it's over... You know, everything it's easier with you.

And when I'm gone, take another dog who seeks for his owner. Don't be afraid. With your new friend you're extending my continuance – everything is connected.
