Almost 4 years have already passed by and noone from our family hasn't written anything about Sami by now. And I think It's time to put something on the paper....
Hi, hi, hi…. My name is Sa Min, which can be translated from Tibetan to Slovene as »white sand«. I actually am like sand! When you think you already have a hold of me, I slip through, like sand through a fist! And this is my story…..
Sami: »How did I happen to stay home?«
It's very simple!
First of all – I was lucky to be born white with one big black patch over my eye. Noone really liked me. People who came to see me and my other brothers and sisters always said: »Look at that little pirate«! Nobody wanted to understand when Nataša told them that that patch will "disappear" when my fur grows longer....
And then.... , while I grew up, I got this beautiful bottom, which was very much like my mommy's and I could make really enchanting moves with it. So Nataša said a lot of times: »Gosh, Nanda! Your little Samueli has such a beautiful bottom and she dances with it just like you!«

Nevertheless, I sensed that »our big N« is up to something and I decided to sustain her words (well, actually Shu made a little whisper about it) and to my bottom I added my mom's chest and sable spots, which Nataša likes very much, and I opened my eyes really wide and held my head high... besides all of that I came up with a bit more reserved character and …»voila Nataša fell for it« : »Hey, Nanda, after all you've given me another girl who has what I like on you! «
With blinking eyes I looked her and gave her one big wet kiss on her nose.....
When she finally said: »Samueli – My little pirate, you stay home! Nanda, I found your successor !«
From a »little pirate« I've slowly developed and grew into a »princess«!
Now, I'm writing this as a 4-year old and in the mean time many things have happened.
I made many trouble according to the words of my family! Of course I was the youngest and extremely spoiled and consequently I could afford to be a bit of a trouble.Nataša has (like always) decided to educate me properly, but she wasn't the only one making decisions. I've decided too, but my plan was to educate my whole family in my own way!
Nataša: »Sami, you little Angel-Devil«
This time I won't be writing about first months or the first few years. I'll try to describe very breifly some of our attempts how to raise our Sami and her very precisely made plan to educate »us«!....
Sami is at least in my opinion, a little bit of an angel and little bit of a devil, a princess and a little bandit . She is a combination of all contradictions and she always manages to succeed in everything !
She's our little pleasant and spoiled girl who masters the entire family and all our hearts, not to mention the hearts and minds of other people. In general only for those, whom she allows to step into her world!
First try of Education:
Sami can dance, like a ballerina, when she's trying to achieve something. But if she fails to succeed, she begins to stamping with all of her paws like a »spoiled brat«! We actually tried to make her stop doing that, but instead of being severe and teach her not to do that anymore, we just couldn't resist to laugh when she kisses us with her snout and the very next moment begging with her paws, blinking and seducing with her look! … So in the end – we weren't successful….
Second try of....:
She loves to provoke our furry elders …. Of course her mom and aunts tried to make some discipline, but she again and again gets them to play with her and run around and do all other TT foolish tricks, which means – they were unsuccessful too…
Thrid try of...:
Sami is not very enthusiastic about strangers and she shows it very well … We (again) tried to convince her that strangers and new adventures are not harmful. Hm, yeah well… she taught us all how to »freeze and become invisible« … mhm, and again we failed…
Fourth try of...:
»Yuck, you mustn't …. show your teeth and growl«. Well, this was actually a very special project turned upside down for which takes credit mainly her Boris! Instead of Sami not showing her teeth and growling, she was taught to show her teeth and growl on command. Thanks God that I know about this secret and that I don't use the command »show your teeth« on dog shows and on veterinary station! Of course ... we were unsccessful or better, wrongly successful!
Fifth try of...:
»Quiet« … Yes, we always try to teach our dogs the command »Quiet« and they're all very decent! But Sami, hm, she always has something to say in return with the closure of »bowf «, blink and wave with her tail. Eehh – the conclusion: we again unsuccessfully found out that even here she wins.
Hmmmm…….. Many things mentioned above are funny and likeable but.... Don't let your dog do these tricks, especially if it's your first TT!
And Why? Because at our house we have long-time experience and tolerance for »mistakes ours and theirs« and it takes to be patient, understanding, sacrificial, responsible and especially being highly concentrated on a dog (dogs) !!!!
And if something goes wrong or on the other way (as seen from the above) is only our human fault :-) !
And because when Sami isn't »naughty«. She's... a good girl!!!
She's the best »student« on a dog-school-polygon , an enchanting young lady on a dog show, she's obedient and tender, a great and caring mother to her little ones and markedly sensual to all of us and....
Nanda is very proud of her and so are we!!!
